Job Vacancies

The machines are Volvo L70H, Cat 926 or Cat 930, all replaced every 2 years

Duties include;

The role is an admin role which will include the following tasks.

  • Loading tippers with soil or hardcore.
  • Loading bulkers & Roll on bins with Wood chip, waste & other materials.
  • Emptying and maintaining stock levels within the factories.
  • Loading a shredder with skip waste.
  • Clean & maintain the machine.
  • Screen wood chip.

Key details:

Location: Greenacres, Packards Lane, Wormingford, Colchester, Essex, CO6 3AH.

Standard hours are Monday – Friday 07:30 – 17:30, Overtime & Saturday work is available.

CSH Environmental is currently recruiting for a Trainee Customer Service Assistant to be based within their Sales and Transport Department This is an excellent opportunity to work with a company which has progression, values, and cares for its people.

Duties include;

The role is an admin role which will include the following tasks.

  • Answering the phone.
  • Keeping records of all calls taken.
  • Dealing with simple telephone requests.
  • Transferring calls to the correct person/department.
  • Inputting jobs onto our waste management program.
  • Other simple tasks as required.

When the successful candidate is confident in our computer systems and in the roles above there will be scope to learn further roles within the company

Key details:

Location: Greenacres, Packards Lane, Wormingford, Colchester, Essex, CO6 3AH.

Must be able to drive due to our location.

Hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5:30pm

Duties Include:

  • Driving HGV’s for the collection and pick up of skips, roll on roll off skips and dustcarts.

Key details:

Location: Greenacres, Packards Lane, Wormingford, Colchester, Essex, CO6 3AH.

Coverage Area: Colchester, covering most of Essex.

Working hours:  7:00am – 5.00 pm Monday to Friday. Some Saturday mornings and additional hours may be available as overtime.

Salary: £14.89 standard time
£22.33 overtime
Plus we also offer a weekly bonus/incentive.

Job Title: Credit Controller and Accounts Assistant
Department: Accounts
Report To: Beverley Cave – Company Accountant
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Summary

The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting, and supporting the company
accountant and accounts team in carrying out the responsibilities for the Group of
Companies being:
CSH Environmental Ltd
Colchester Skip Hire Partnership
AA Turner Tankers Ltd
Need a Tanker Ltd
In this role, you will help the accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency
and efficiency in all transactions.

Responsibilities

Credit Control:
Processing Credit Application Forms and checking credit worthiness using Top Service and
notifying the Sales Team the account has been approved or denied.
Processing Direct Debit Forms.
Setting Customer up on Purgo and setting the customer up with access to the on-line portal.
Ensure information and Purgo and Sage account matches.
Issuing Chase Letter.
Calling Customers prior to the account being placed on hold.
Placing Overdue accounts on stop at the 15 th Month.
Issuing 7 Day letters.
Negotiating payment plans and setting up terms and conditions.
Starting the legal proceedings if customers do not pay debts on time.
All communications should be recorded and logged on Purgo

Management of the Direct Debit System:
Process emails from Bacservices.co.uk
Pre month end direct debit checks
Processing the month end Direct Debit Run for import to Barclays
Posting Direct Debits to Customer Accounts and deal with any queries
Dealing with Unpaid Direct Debits

Assist with Banking tasks:

Running end of day PDQ report
Reconciling and posting the daily cash sheet
Process all Receipts and Payments from the Daily Bank Sheets
Reconcile all Bank Accounts for CSH, AA Turner Tankers, Colchester Skip Hire Partnership
and Need a Tanker.
Process PayPal Receipt and Charges and reconcile the PayPal Account.
Dealing with all payment queries ensuring notes are recorded on Purgo

Assist Sales Ledger tasks:
Reconciling the Cash Account
Dealing with Customer Queries
Raising authorised Credit Notes
Taking Debit or Credit Payments
Checking the Daily Calendar Reminders
Manage the accounts email boxes for CSH, AA Turner Tankers and Need a Tanker
The above key duties are to be carried out in line with the company procedures. Flexibility
will be required; additional tasks may also need to be carried out.
